Our Highlights
Agile methods for in-house consulting teams: Several months of support in an international organization
For a team of an international public organization that works in the role of internal consultants, we supported the introduction and application of agile methods for over six months. The aim was to provide the team with long-term training in agile working methods and to support them in applying them in practice.
The starting point was a two-day “methods workshop” in which we introduced the participants to the basics of the agile mindset and approaches such as design thinking and scrum. The focus was on practical exercises that the team could apply directly to their consulting work.
We then supported the team with monthly, two-hour mini-workshops on site. These sessions served as collegial case consultations, where specific challenges from the team's everyday life were reflected on and worked on together. In addition, we continuously expanded the method set with new tools and gave valuable tips on how to use them in the daily work context.
The result: The team not only developed a deep understanding of agile methods, but was also able to successfully incorporate this knowledge into the organization, thus sustainably increasing the effectiveness and innovative power of its consulting.
