Digital product development for rail replacement services
For a large international local and long-distance rail company, we took a holistic, user-centered approach to the challenge of emergency bus services (spontaneous train cancellations) and rail replacement services (planned train cancellations) and (conceptually) sustainably improved the traveler experience. Along specific customer journeys (personas), we identified the biggest pain points of SEV and, on this basis, designed concrete (mostly digital) solutions, which were then given to the customer for specific development. In doing so, we explicitly built on existing solutions and resources (both within and outside the group) in order to leverage maximum synergies.
